chool District 79 (Cowichan Valley) is located on the east coast of central Vancouver Island, extending north to Saltair, south to Spectacle Lake on the Malahat, and west to the Lake Cowichan region, including Honeymoon Bay and Youbou. A majority of students use the school district transportation system to get to school.

The mission of the Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie---Britannique (CSF) [Francophone Education Authority] is to provide educational programs and services in the communities that it serves. The CSF is continuing to establish a school system from Kindergarten to Grade 12 throughout the province in order to serve its growing clientele. The School District currently has an enrolment of 4,958 students in 37 locations across the province. These numbers represent an increase of over 5.4% as compared to July 2012. In addition, in September 2013, there will be 15 students beginning at the new school in Fernie.

Coast Mountains Board of Education School District 82

Coast Mountains School District is located in the northwest of British Columbia and encompasses the traditional territories of three Aboriginal nations: the Gitksan, the Haisla, and the Tsimshian. The Gitksan‐ Wet’suwet’en Nation of the Hazelton area is made up of seven band communities that range from Gitanyow and Gitwangak through the Hazelton communities, and on up the Kispiox Valley. The Haisla Nation is centered in Kitamaat Village and the Tsimshian Nation has two distinct band communities in the Terrace and Thornhill areas.

School District No. 60 (Peace River North) is located on the eastern side of the Northern Rockies in the northeast corner of British Columbia at the northern edge of the Canadian prairies. The region is characterized by energy and growth and enjoys a positive economic outlook due to rapid development taking place in the petro-chemical, energy, forestry and service industries. This growth is reflected in the district’s increasing student enrollment, which in 2007 is expected to exceed 6000.
