WHEREAS the Board and a Bargaining Committee of the Hamilton Police Association are empowered under Section 119 of the Police Services Act, being Chapter 10 of The Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1990, as amended, to bargain for the purpose of coming to an agreement in writing, defining, determining and providing for remuneration, pensions, sick leave credit gratuities, grievance procedures or working conditions of the members of the Hamilton Police Service below the rank of Inspector, except such working conditions as are governed by a regulation made by the Lieutenant-Governor-in-Council under the Police Services Act, and
