The City of Stillwater and Sustainable Stillwater (SustSTW) believe that the success of the City’s recycling program depends on proper preparation of recyclable materials and clean drop- off sites. To enhance the City’s recycling program, and to encourage community involvement, the Stillwater Adopt-a-Site Program has been established.

WHEREAS, Volunteer and City are mutually desirous of beautifying the City of Canton through the landscaping of vacant areas of land owned by the City, usually adjacent to streets, highways or other entries to the City; and

The City of Martin and the Martin Beautiful Committee have established an Adopt-A-Site program to provide opportunities for our community to enhance the City through the development and maintenance of landscaped sites. Individuals or groups of volunteers may apply for a site. If their application is approved, they accept the responsibility for maintaining the site for a minimum of one year. In exchange, the City of Martin will place a sign bearing the name of the site manager as directed by the individual or group.
