The several persons whose names are hereto subscribed, and whose descriptions are contained below, and of whom ten are engaged as sailors, hereby agree to serve on board the said ship, in the several capacities expressed against their respective names, on a voyage from London to Punta Arenas and any ports and places on the East and West Coast of South America the West Indies the United States of America between Portland and Galveston inclusive the British North American provinces and the Mediterranean Sea to and fro as employment may be found for any period not exceeding eighteen months and back to the port of final discharge in the United Kingdom or the Continent of Europe between the Elbe and Brest.
