The County of Santa Barbara contracts with city libraries in Santa Barbara, Lompoc, and Santa Maria to provide library services to County residents. The agreement for fiscal year 2015-16 was approved by the County Library Advisory Committee on June 17, 2015, and is being reviewed this month by city officials in Lompoc, Santa Maria, and Santa Barbara. Pending approval of the Library Board of Trustees, the Agreement will be presented to the Lompoc City Council on their July 21, 2015, agenda, and to the County Board of Supervisors on their August 25, 2015 agenda.
