Mayo Clinic Jacksonville operates a telemedicine program that provides emergency vascular neurology telemedicine consultative services for adult acute stroke patients who receive ambulance transport services and show acute stroke symptoms while en route to a Mayo emergency department for emergency medical care. St. Johns County Fire Rescue has determined that these services would advance the diagnosis, treatment, and care of the adult acute stroke patients who it serves through its ambulance service. The attached agreement provides the terms and conditions for the provision of emergency vascular neurology telemedicine consultative services for adult stroke patients who receive ambulance transport services through St. Johns County Fire Rescue.
