ContractAgreement on the Cooperation for the Sustainable Development of the Mekong River Basin • January 22nd, 2003
The Governments of The Kingdom of Cambodia, The Lao People's Democratic Republic, The Kingdom of Thailand, and The Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, being equally desirous of continuing to cooperate in a constructive and beneficial manner for sustainable development, utilization, conservation and management of the Mekong River Basin water and related resources, have resolved to conclude this Agreement setting forth the framework for cooperation acceptable to all parties hereto to accomplish these ends, and for that purpose have appointed their respective plenipotentiaries:
The Governments of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Viet Nam signed on 5th April 1995 the;Agreement on the Cooperation for the Sustainable Development of the Mekong River Basin • May 8th, 2012
The reasonable and equitable use of water; Notification and Prior Consultation processes; The maintenance of flows on the mainstream;
