This Agreement for Professional Investigative Services (this “Agreement”) is effective January 1, 2023, by and between the County of Orange, a political subdivision of the State of California (the “County”), on the one hand, and Van Dermyden Makus Law Corporation (“Investigators”), on the other hand. County and Investigators are sometimes individually referred to as “Party”, or collectively referred to as “Parties.”
