This is an annual agreement between graduate student and thesis supervisor with respect to salaries, research plans, and a variety of issues relevant to training. There are 9 parts to this agreement—make sure you read, understand and discuss all parts. It is the supervisor’s responsibility to meet with each of their graduate students in September (or the first month of graduate work) to fill out this form and submit it to Joanne Surette in the Grad Office. This is an annual agreement between the graduate student and thesis supervisor with respect to salaries, research plans, and a variety of issues relevant to training. There are 10 parts to this agreement—make sure you read, understand and discuss all parts. It is the student’s and supervisor’s joint responsibility to meet in September (or the first month of graduate work) to complete this form and submit it to the Graduate Program Advisor. Both the supervisor and student are strongly encouraged to read the Biology Guide to Graduate Studies, and ideally also the Graduate Calendar and the Graduate Supervision Handbook before completing this form. The relatively short Senate Graduate Supervision Policy lays out the roles and responsibilities of students and supervisors, among other useful information.
