The Advanced Placement curriculum consists of college-level classes taught at the high school by high school teachers with additional training and/or certification. AP exams are administered nationwide in May. Many, but not all, colleges award credit or allow a student to be exempt from certain college courses if the student scores a 3, 4, or 5 on the AP exam. Students should check the AP admission policy for their college of choice PRIOR to registering for an AP course at Grayson High School.
