Participation in the AIPG Field Trip (“Excursion”) carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. Those risks include but are not limited to the hazards of traveling, accidents or illness in remote places without medical facilities, the forces of nature and travel by automobile or other means falling, being struck, colliding with objects or persons, reacting to increased exertion, suffering allergic reactions, slips, trips and falls, walking on rough or uneven surfaces, heat exhaustion, dehydration or risks associated with physical activities in general, catastrophic injuries including paralysis and death.

While measures are being taken to minimize the risk of spreading the disease, Rider University (the “University”) cannot guarantee that you will not become exposed or infected while visiting its campus and facilities and interacting with staff, employees, students, and guests. Visiting Rider University’s campus and facilities could increase your risk of being exposed to the coronavirus and contracting COVID-19. Rider strongly encourages any person visiting campus to be “Fully Vaccinated” (at least two (2) weeks after having received the second dose in a two-dose series or two (2) weeks after receiving a single dose vaccine), and to have received a COVID-19 booster.

ACU cannot assure that I will not be exposed to such dangers and risks. Therefore, I choose to voluntarily participate in the Activity with the knowledge that the Activity may expose me to such dangers and risks.
