Introduction: Datasets that we have collected are meant to aid research efforts in the general area of developing, testing and evaluating human recognition algorithms. The purpose of collecting the RAITE (Robust Artificial Intelligence Test Event) 2023 dataset was to research on how person detection AI (Artificial Intelligence) models react to adversarial attacks and anomalies. Subjects, who gave consent to participate in this collection, were asked to stand or walk in a simulated prison environment (organized in the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, located near Butlerville, Indiana, USA) and were filmed by a few standard cameras. The subjects were asked to wear various types of apparel (t-shirt/shirt/sweater of various colors, hats, glasses, etc.), or keep banners with printed adversarial patterns to simulate visual adversarial attacks. The RAITE 2023 Dataset contains videos of subjects and metadata indicating which apparel was worn, or what other adversarial objects were used by su
