Anna Independent School District is pleased to announce that students may bring their personal devices to school for instructional use during the school day. The purpose of the District’s BYOD program is to extend and enrich the learning environment. Students will be given the opportunity to do so on a room-by-room and day-by-day basis. The use of technology to provide educational material is not an entitlement, but a privilege provided by teachers and administrators under their directives. When abused, privileges will be taken away. When respected, the personal device will benefit the learning environment as a whole.

In an effort to put students at the center and empower them to take control of their learning, The Town of Webb UFSD will allow students in grades 6-12 to use personal technology devices once registered although the school will issue them a device for their use as part of the grade 6-12 1:1 initiative.
