As new technologies continue to change the world in which we live, mobile devices provide many new and positive educational benefits for learning or provide advantages for student needs as an assistive technology. Therefore, the Eastern Lancaster County School District has decided to implement a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) on a case by case basis. Students with exceptionalities are encouraged, on a case by case basis, to bring their own technology devices to assist in their learning experiences. This document is an agreement which the district will adhere to as we establish this new program within the district. Please note that students with exceptionalities who cannot bring in outside technology will be able to access and utilize the district’s equipment. No student will be left out of our instruction.
