Date Description 10/01/1979 County enters into “exclusive” bus bench advertising agreement with AMI (Associated Marketing, Inc.) for a period of five (5) years through September 30, 1984. Council approved this at the 9/13/79 Council meeting. 11/01/1992 County enters into a second bus bench advertising contract with AMI for a period of one (1) year through November 1993, which contract will automatically be renewed for one year unless notice of cancellation is provided in writing by either party to the other on a date sixty days before the end of the contract period. The agreement gives AMI the right to place benches at (i) bus stops in unincorporated Volusia County and (ii) at such other rights-of-way in the unincorporated areas of the County that are mutually acceptable to AMI and Votran. The agreement disallows placement within DBIA, County parks, or a municipality (i.e., incorporated areas). Rights and title to benches is vested in AMI, and AMI agrees immediately to remove any suc
