Globally, broad agreement exists that ocean stressors such as climate change, historic overfishing, physical disturbance, and pollution are interacting synergistically—with effects greater than their expected combined individual impacts—to harm our oceans. The threats are mounting, and the consequences will be dire unless we continue to take bold action.
