Renaissance Academy Charter School of the Arts is a k-6th grade elementary school located in the greater Rochester NY area. RA opened its doors to students in the fall of 2014. An initial charter agreement for 5 years was issued, and subsequently, an additional 2 years was awarded at the end of the 2019 school year. The current charter agreement is set to expire in June of 2022. RA currently has an enrollment of 500 students. The current demographics include a 93% poverty rate, 12% of students with disabilities, and 1% English language learners.
