The American Financial Services Association (“AFSA”)1 welcomes the opportunity to comment on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (“CFPB”) proposed Company Portal Services Agreement (“Agreement”). The Agreement is to be entered into between the CFPB and the signer of the Agreement or “User” of the CFPB’s Consumer Response Portal (“Company Portal”), an electronic delivery system operated by the CFPB that provides secure access to various complaints from Persons and those who submit complaints on their behalf about the business practices of others.
