This RELEASE AND SEVERANCE AGREEMENT (“Agreement”) is made and entered into by Gerald Gilbert (“Employee”) and Geokinetics Inc., its past, present and future subsidiaries, parents, and affiliates and its past, present, and future employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, insurers and legal counsel (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Company”) on this 31st day of December, 2011 (the “Effective Date”).
