Public Works has received a construction engineering agreement for Phase II of the Lead Service Line Replacement program from Robinson Engineering Ltd in the not-to-exceed amount of $290,000.

Explanation: Millennia Professional Services Inc has been doing the Phase 3 Engineering (Construction Engineering) for this Safe Routes to School Project. The project itself is looking like it will come in under budget. With this project using IDOT administered money, we have had to have the resident engineer out there to confirm that the contractor was indeed watering the sod. With the heatwave in May/June, the sod was requiring a lot of attention and now that some of the sod has subsequently died, we require the engineering services for when the contractor removes and replaces the dead sod. Since everything was done within tolerance of the IDOT spec book, we cannot back charge the contractor for the engineering overage.

Watershed Consulting is pleased to provide this letter of engagement to complete construction engineering services for the Falls Trail South Gully. The project scope and fee are provided in the two RFP documents, Falls Road Trail Stormwater Improvements (Georgia): Construction Management Services and cost proposal, dated July 19, 2024.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Kansas Department of Transportation Agreement For Federal- Aid Construction Engineering Inspection Services By Consultant (Cost Plus Net Fee CE Agreement) and authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement.Construction Engineering Agreement • October 2nd, 2019
Transystems was selected for the preliminary and construction engineering services for the 159th St. Improvements Project that includes the KTA Bridge and street improvements from the bridge to Central Ave. The preliminary engineering is complete, the project has been bid, and it is time to begin the construction engineering/inspection phase of the project. The KDOT agreement for construction engineering inspection services simply establishes the relationship between KDOT, the City of Andover, and Transystems as it relates to the inspection work. The construction engineering is part of the 80/20 federal/local cost share portion of the project.
