On August 15, 2000, your Board adopted an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) policy for the control of pests on County property. In order to bring county structural pest control practice into line with this policy, General Services put the County’s structural pest control contract out to bid in order to ensure that the County is getting the best, most scientifically advanced, least toxic treatment programs available on the market. The IPM Coordinator was integrally involved in drafting the Request for Proposal and the selection of the vendor.

On site inspection of Respondent’s facilities may be performed by the County and an evaluation committee to ascertain that facilities and equipment are in accordance with the requirements and intentions of the specifications.
