Following a competitive tendering process the Authority has awarded this contract on behalf of the 5 UK fishing authorities to the Contractor for the provision of vessel tracking devices, and communication systems and services to enable UK fishing vessels to report their positions and the UK fishing authorities to receive those positions as required by EU and National VMS Regulations and the Contractor has agreed to provide these systems and services in accordance with the terms set out below.
