The South China Sea is a very strategic water area and is a busy water area as a global trade sea route. The countries involved in the South China Sea dispute include Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Brunei and Malaysia which are related to their respective Exclusive Economic Zone areas. Indonesia has an Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of 2.55 (two point fifty five) million square kilometers. This dispute problem certainly results in several countries having interests in this sea area, such as Indonesia which has an area of the North Natuna sea of 3.5 (three point five) million square kilometers.
