The parties have agreed that should the Council ever decide to use its Compulsory Purchase Order powers in order to assemble a site which is to be developed by the Company then the Council will be indemnified for the cost of acquiring this land by John Laing. The CPO Indemnity Agreement sets the terms and conditions for this indemnity.
