A gas or electricity Deemed Contract (“contract”) is made pursuant to either the Gas Act of 1986 or the Electricity Act of 1989 (as amended). Both Acts explain the terms and conditions that will apply to a deemed contract, being a contract that, by law, is imposed between parties where no existing contractual relationship exists (a ‘’Deemed Contract’’).
