Alabama School for the Deaf (“ASD”) is excited to provide the opportunity for our students to have devices (“Devices”) to enhance their digital literacy skills both inside and outside the traditional classroom. Devices include any accessories loaned to the student, including chargers. The following handbook provides students and their parents/guardians with information about the general use of technology, “ownership”, rights and responsibilities for possession of the digital device, and care of the digital device. All students and their respective parents/guardians must agree to all policies listed in this handbook in order to receive and utilize a digital device, school network, and all other St. Anthony owned technology-related items.
