Wayne Central School District provides education services in grades K-12 to a population of about 2,150 students, employing a staff of approximately 475 teaching, administrative, and support personnel. The mission of the Wayne Central School District is to “Educate and inspire all students to be empowered learners and positive contributors to their community”. There is a district-level safety committee and building-level safety committees that meet regularly to address ongoing safety, health, and wellness matters. Further, a Board of Education committee for wellness also exists to keep these matters elevated at the organization’s highest level.
