The National Research University of Information Technology, Mechanics and Optics (hereafter ITMO) established in Saint Petersburg, 49 Kronverksky Pr., St. Petersburg 197101, Russia, represented by Prof. Dr. Vladimir Vasilyev, Rector of the University, and Universität Rostock (hereafter UR) located at Universitätsplatz 1, 18055 Rostock, Germany, represented by its Rector, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schareck, express both their intention to strengthen their institutional cooperation in the field of higher education and to develop student exchanges between the two institutions.
