It also represents an acknowledgement by the SKAGIT RIVER SYSTEM COOPERATIVE (SRSC), representing the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community and the Sauk Suiattle Indian Tribe (collectively referred to as the Tribes), of a shared need to develop and maintain effective levels of communication and cooperation in recognition of the vital roles of agriculture and natural resources in sustaining the customs, culture and economic viability of Skagit County, its citizens and the Tribes and their members.
