DUAL ADMISSION PROGRAM AGREEMENT

This agreement establishes a Dual Admission Program (Program) between Jamestown Community College and University at Buffalo. Students selected for matriculation in this Program will, upon satisfactory completion of a prescribed prerequisite sequence of courses leading to an associate degree from Jamestown Community College, be accepted by and continue their studies with junior status at University at Buffalo in the articulated baccalaureate degree parallel academic major. They will also have the opportunity to complete all requirements for the baccalaureate degree by taking four additional semesters of normal course work load. This assumes the completion of the required credit hours, required grade point average (GPA), and required prerequisite courses. If a student is chosen to participate in an internship semester at University at Buffalo, additional course work beyond four semesters may be necessary. This document establishes a Dual Admission Program between Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA and Christ’s College Taipei located in Taipei, Taiwan. Students selected for matriculation in this program will, upon completion of a prescribed sequence of courses from Christ’s College Taipei, continue their studies at Geneva College with assurance that they may complete all requirements for a corresponding baccalaureate degree with the completion of 64-68 semester credit hours, as prescribed in the appropriate Geneva College Academic Plan. (In cases such as majors in disciplines that are sequential and professional programs that are highly structured, or pursuit of a different baccalaureate degree at Geneva College, the completion of more than 64-68 credit hours may be required.) Further, courses in which a student earns a “D” (60-69 on a 100-point scale) or lower will not be transferable to Geneva College

SUNY Erie continues to serve as a primary point of entry for military affiliated students pursuing higher education. SUNY Erie has created a familiar, small unit atmosphere of support for military students that acts as a safety net for this identity group. As a four‐year private college, Daemen offers the opportunity for military affiliated students to continue their education pursuits in demand fields. This proposed agreement would create a pathway for students seeking their next degree while maintaining the small unit atmosphere established at here at Erie. Students may apply for entrance to the Dual Admission program when they submit their application for admission to SUNY Erie or at any time prior to the completion of thirty (30) credits at Erie.

The purpose of this articulation is to continue the cooperative relationship between ECC and Alfred State College in the field of Mechanical Engineering Technology that benefits students desiring to complete a bachelor’s degree. The renewal is now resubmitted by Alfred State to include changes in the Appendix A’s course equivalencies.
