Contract Type FiledOctober 9th, 2022Chilliwack Adventist Christian School Handbook: CACS uses computers and other electronics as part of the curriculum. CACS is a Christian school, and students are encouraged to make wise choices in their use of computers and electronic equipment. Such items are for learning and not entertainment. Any improper use of such equipment (be it with careless attention paid to keeping the equipment safe, or going to harmful websites, or websites not approved by the teachers, or using such equipment to harass or hurt others) will result in the equipment being withheld and students will be subject to the CACS Handbook Conduct Code. Students who have their own devices must first ask permission to use these devices, and if are misused, these devices will be confiscated and returned to parents at the end of the day. They may be asked to not bring these devices back to school for a period of time subject to the discretion of the principal.
