WHEREAS, in connection with a federal-aid project funded through the New York State Department of Transportation (“NYSDOT”) identified for the purposes of this Agreement as PINs 8758.80 & 8758.30- Rehabilitation of Teller Avenue and Fishkill Avenue (as described in detail in Attachment A annexed hereto, the “Project”) the Sponsor has sought to engage the services of a Consultant Engineer to perform the scope of services described in Attachment B annexed hereto; and

The Consultant shall furnish or provide the services assigned to it under subsequent Task/Project Orders and set forth in each respective Final Scope of Work thereto for the applicable Project or Program in accordance with these General Conditions and the Maine Turnpike Authority’s (Authority’s) requirements, as outlined in the Authority’s executed Contract with Consultant therefore.

The Agreement between the Consultant and the Authority consists of these General Provisions, the executed Contract Form between the parties, any Task/Project Orders issued by the Authority to the Consultant under that Contract Form, and any other requirements or documents specifically incorporated by a Contract Document. Collectively these documents shall be referred to herein as “the Contract” or “the Contract Documents.” References to “the Contract” or “the Contract Documents” herein shall refer to the Contract Documents taken as a collective whole unless otherwise specified or another interpretation is compelled by the context.
