I understand that while the TAC will take all necessary precautions for the safety of the artwork, I, the artist, am responsible for the insurance of my artwork. I understand that if my artwork is too fragile or not ready to hang with wires and/ or suitable hardware, that this work will not be included in this exhibit. I agree to permit the TAC to use images of my artwork for publicity. My work is original and not taken from another artist's work. My artwork is for sale. Upon sale of the work, I, the artist, will receive percentages for my work as listed below if time is spent in the gallery. If the artist does not volunteer in TAC’s gallery during this exhibit, the artist will receive 70% of the sale price and donate 30% of the sales price to TAC’s operations. The borrower agrees to pay a rental fee of $150 if the exhibit shipping and return is arranged by the South Dakota State Historical Society. The rental fee is $25 if the exhibit is picked up and returned to the Cultural Heritage Center in Pierre, SD.
