Thank you for considering the Lenox Library Association for your event. The Lenox Library is a National Historic Register building which brings with it beauty and ambience but also restrictions, fragility and responsibilities. For these reasons and to ensure the success of your event and the safety of your guests, we ask your understanding and cooperation in complying with the following requirements:

This restricted facility use policy is necessary for two important reasons. First, the church may not in good conscience cooperate in activities or beliefs that are contrary to its faith. Allowing its facilities to be used for purposes that contradict the church’s beliefs would be cooperation with that activity, and would be a grave violation of the church’s faith and religious practice (see 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 and 1 Thessalonians 5:22).

The facilities and equipment of the YMCA are first and foremost for the use of YMCA members and regularly scheduled programs and activities. When these facilities are not in use by YMCA groups, they may be reserved.
