Class of 2023 - Senior Capstone Faculty Advisor Agreement
Faculty Advisor Agreement • April 5th, 2022

Each student will select a faculty Capstone Advisor. The advisor does not need to be a subject matter expert in the area you have chosen to research, but it is certainly helpful if they are knowledgeable and interested. Ask around, your teachers do have other interests outside of what they teach. The role of your faculty advisor is to help guide you through the Capstone process and provide advice regarding research and writing. It is not the advisor's responsibility to constantly monitor your progress; rather you are expected to make appointments with your advisor to discuss your work. It is highly recommended to talk to your advisor often as they will help keep you on track. It is also recommended that you make early contact with your preferred faculty advisor as they are limited on the number of students they will advise.
