Moody Band Boosters Fair Share Agreement

All band members, including auxiliaries, have a $700 band fee which helps pay for the various costs associated with operating the Moody Band program. Students who play school-owned instruments have an additional $100 annual instrument usage fee. Auxiliary uniforms, flags, poms, other accessories are in addition to this fee, as are band shoes for playing members. Because the band program receives no funding from external sources, the program is dependent upon band fees collected from students and fundraising activities. Parents may choose to pay the fee in full or elect to reduce fees to $350 by participating in the Fair Share Program as described below, plus any accessory and usage fees described above. Families with multiple children in the high school band will get a Fair Share agreement reducing fees to $500 total.
