Last year, the City was awarded federal funds under the Surface Transportation Block Grant Program (STBG) for the resurfacing of Valley Road, between Strecker Road to Clayton Road. Our application requested federal funds to construct the project, which is estimated to cost $1,000,000. A minimum local match of 20% of eligible costs is required. Funds for construction of the project would be available in 2026.

Last year, the Department was awarded federal funds under the Surface Transportation Program - Suballocated (STP - S) for the construction of a new roundabout intersection improvement at State Route BA (South) and State Route 109. Our application requested $1,360,000 in federal funds to construct the project. A minimum local match of 20% of eligible costs is required. Funds for construction of the project would be available in 2023. A concept drawing of the project follows this memorandum.
