Contract Type FiledApril 17th, 2017The Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement (GLWQA) is a non-regulatory agreement between the United States and Canada which describes the commitment of each country to restore and maintain the chemical, physical, and biological integrity of the Waters of the Great Lakes and their intention to prevent further pollution and degradation of the Great Lakes Basin Ecosystem (GLWQA, 2012). The actions identified in this document are needed to meet beneficial use impairment (BUI) removal targets leading to the delisting of the Sheboygan River Area of Concern (AOC). These actions are not subject to enforcement or regulatory actions.
