The GM VCSE Accord is a three-way collaboration agreement between the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, its constituent local authority members and statutory partners, including Transport for Greater Manchester, and the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership and the GM Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Sector1 represented by the GM VCSE Leadership Group, based in a relationship of mutual trust, working together, and sharing responsibility. The purpose of this Accord is to further develop how we work together to improve outcomes for Greater Manchester’s communities and citizens.

The GM VCSE Accord is in the process of being shared and adopted across all of the individual local authority areas in GM as a set of guiding principles and commitments through which locally based relationships, projects and programmes will be developed. It will be up to each district to take forward work in their own place(s), tailoring it to local shared priorities, local resources, and the nature of the local VCSE sector.
