Term: The 2009 contract will be structured as a 6-month (Jan 1 – June 30) contract with a potential 6-month extension (July 1 – December 31). Both the initial term and extension are contingent upon (i) DHA certification of sufficient funding to operate the program with the same benefit and subsidy structure as in 2008 and (ii) agreement upon premium rates and, if required, BOI approval of those rates. Certification of available funding for July 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009 must occur no later than December 1, 2008.
