This Tippecanoe County Community Corrections Health Care Service Contract (hereinafter “Contract”), by and between Quality Correctional Care, LLC (hereinafter “QCC”), an Indiana limited liability company with offices located at 12900 N Meridian St, Ste 140, Carmel, IN 46074, and the Board of Commissioners of the County of Tippecanoe (hereinafter referred to as the “County Commissioners”) acting for and on behalf of County, Indiana (hereinafter referred to as the “County”) and its County Executive Director (hereinafter “Executive Director”) who will be hereafter its liaison in dealing with QCC, sets forth terms and conditions for QCC to render inmate healthcare services for the County.

RCW 48.44.290 Registered nurses or advanced registered nurses.

Notwithstanding any provision of this chapter, for any health care service contract thereunder which is entered into or renewed after July 26, 1981, benefits shall not be denied under such contract for any health care service performed by a holder of a license for registered nursing practice or advanced registered nursing practice issued pursuant to chapter 18.79 RCW if (1) the service performed was within the lawful scope of such person's license, and (2) such contract would have provided benefits if such service had been performed by a holder of a license issued pursuant to chapter 18.71 RCW: PROVIDED, HOWEVER, That no provision of chapter 18.71 RCW shall be asserted to deny benefits under this section.

RCW 48.44.420 Coverage for adopted children. (1) Any health care service contract under this chapter delivered or issued for delivery in this state, which provides coverage for dependent children, as defined in the contract of the subscriber, shall cover adoptive children placed with the subscriber on the same basis as other dependents, as provided in RCW 48.01.180.
