• If savings are withdrawn before the nine months, matching funds may not be available if all program requirements have not been met and matching funds checks will be made to a vendor or forfeited. After nine months, the participant may have input regarding the payee of the matching funds. Checks made directly to the participant may be included as income in some public assistance programs.
