Ohio University Housing and Culinary Services terms and conditions must be reviewed and accepted prior to completing the contract. The full version can be found here, ohio.edu/housing/contract. Ohio University has a residency requirement which requires students to reside on campus for two full academic years (comprised of fall and spring semesters) after high school graduation and carry an associated meal plan. Consideration for exemption will be given for two full academic years of college credit earned after high school graduation. The Housing and Culinary Services contract is binding for the entire academic year. Students wishing to be exempt from University housing and/or a dining plan must submit a Housing Exemption/Termination Request Form for review and consideration ohio.edu/housing/forms. This Contract obligates Oregon Tech Housing and Residence Life to provide you with housing only as set forth in this Contract. All portions of on-campus housing remain under the exclusive ownership and control of Oregon Tech. Oregon Tech and those acting on its behalf or at its request may, when warranted, remove any person from on-campus housing without resort to the procedures set forth in ORS 105.105 through 105.168. Such procedures are expressly, knowingly, and voluntarily waived by execution of this Contract.

When you are assigned a room in a residence hall, this contract takes effect. At that time, you are obligated to remain in College housing for the academic year. You may not move out during the contract period unless you have permission from the Housing Office. You are also required to enroll as a full-time student (15 semester hours or more) to live in College housing. The Housing Office MUST approve all exceptions.
