Terms and Conditions of the

Please read all provisions of this agreement as you are legally bound by these terms and conditions for the entire agreement period. You are responsible for adhering to the guidance as stated in the COVID-19 Addendum to this agreement, along with the policies and procedures found in the Code of Student Conduct and the Housing & Residence Life Guide to Living on Campus. The University does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, age, ability, veteran status, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin in the administration of housing.

HOUSING & DINING AGREEMENT for FULL ACADEMIC YEAR 2021-2022

This Housing & Dining Agreement (hereinafter Agreement) for Fall 2021/Spring 2022 (Full Academic Year) is binding on students living in residence hall accommodations at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania (hereinafter MU).

Purpose: The Housing & Dining Agreement is the binding document students must agree to when completing their housing application.

EXPECTATIONS

It is expected that all community members respect differences and encourage each other to take advantage of the unique learning experiences that a shared environment brings. As a member of this community, and by signing the Housing & Dining Agreement, students agree to conduct themselves with proper regard and mutual respect for other students, residents, guests, RAs, custodians, facilities staff, University personnel, residence hall neighbors, and their respective property. Residents also agree to abide by the policies, procedures, and rules of ODU, as outlined in the HRL Guide to Living on Campus and Student Code of Conduct.

Northern Kentucky University (“University”) aims to deliver its mission while protecting the health and safety of our students and minimizing the potential spread of disease within our community. As a resident within University Housing (“Housing”), the 2019 Novel Coronavirus or similar public health crisis (“COVID-19”) will impact your housing experience as Housing continues to make public health-informed decisions. The below policies and guidelines are incorporated into the Housing/Dining Agreement Terms & Conditions by this Addendum and are applicable to all residential students. As always, we will endeavor to update you with timely information about specific health and safety guidance important for our residential students.

This Agreement is separate from and not contingent upon financial aid or scholarship award notification, and does not constitute owning or renting and occupying living quarters in Maryland for purposes of the University's policy on student residency classification for tuition and charge differential purposes. This Agreement is a license to use certain facilities for a particular period of time and does not establish or imply a landlord-tenant relationship between the resident and the University. The Departments of Resident Life, Residential Facilities, and Dining Services reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions as warranted due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond their control. When such amendments are made, students will be given written notice in advance and provided the opportunity to cancel this agreement within a specified period of time.
