This fee includes the $90.00 non-refundable account set up fee and the $250.00 refundable meter deposit. The fee covers the installation and removal of the meter (by the City) and account set up. In addition, the applicant will pay a monthly meter rental fee of $60.00 for each calendar month or part of; and a consumption charge of $4.96 per 100 cubic feet (748 gallons). The meter will be read monthly and an invoice will be mailed which will include the monthly meter rental fee and consumption charge. Payment will be due on the 20th of each month.

Payment of a $150.00 non-refundable application fee (cash or check only) is due at the time of application. This fee covers the meter installation (by the city), account set up, removal and the first 1,337 Cubic Feet (10,000 gallons) of water used within the first month. In addition, the applicant will pay a monthly billing fee of $10.00; rental fee of $50.00 for each calendar month the meter is in use and water used in excess of the first 1,337 Cubic Feet (10,000) gallons will be charged at the current commercial volume rate. Failure to reimburse the city for usage on a monthly basis is considered a violation of city code 13.15.040 which will result in immediate termination of hydrant meter usage and/or a fine of $500.00 or more.
