Upon permission being granted and a deposit of a $200.00 fee for a 1" meter and a $775.00 fee for a 3" meter , said fee being used to pay for water used and the use of the meter, a meter will be issued by the Department of Public Works. There will be a flat charge of $10.00 per week, or fraction therof, for the use of the hydrant meter. All water used is charged at the current water rate per 1000 gallons, or fraction thereof.
