This specification is intended to set forth the requirements for emergency and non-emergency medical supplies, and emergency medical gloves within specifications. This specification is to provide the City with the items which meet or exceed specifications herein. The emergency medical gloves shall meet or exceed all standards for emergency medical gloves as set forth by the National Fire Protection Association, 1999/2018 Edition for Standard on Protective Clothing for Emergency Medical Operations. If standard is revised, or a manufacturer design change occurs during the term of this contract, the successful vendor shall be required to obtain new certification and furnish an updated test results to the City in verifying continued compliance to all applicable requirements of the standard. Gloves shall meet and/or exceed the design and performance criteria of the standard in effect at time of shipment.

This bid will be awarded by Group to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder(s). Bidders shall bid all lines within a group to be considered for award. Bidders do not have to bid all groups. The City reserves the right to award by line, by group, or on a total basis depending on which is most advantageous to the City of Dallas. Final bid award will be made to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder(s) meeting specifications.

INTENT: The purpose of this specification is to establish a thirty-six-month Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) master agreement for the purchase of lamps and light bulbs for the City of Dallas. ID/IQ agreement is established when quantities of goods and/or delivery schedules cannot be determined. Goods under this agreement will be ordered on an as needed basis for the term of the agreement.
