Contractors performing work on City property or public right-of-way for the City of Garland shall provide the City a certificate of insurance or a copy of their insurance policy(s) evidencing the coverages and coverage provisions identified herein. Contractors shall provide the City evidence that all subcontractors performing work on the project have the same types and amounts of coverages as required herein or that the subcontractors are included under the contractor’s policy.

The work performed by the contractor shall be at its exclusive risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Contractor will defend, indemnify and hold harmless the homeowners from any and all claims for bodily injury and property damage, including the loss of use of property resulting therefrom, which arise or are in any way connected with the work performed, materials furnished, or services provided by Contractor, Contractor’s subcontractors or anyone employed directly or indirectly by any of them under this agreement.
