WHEREAS, Jefferson County (“County”) the City of Madison (“City”) and the Town of Hanover (“Town”) are empowered to provide emergency communications services to the citizens within their respective jurisdictions and may, therefore, pursuant to IC 36-1-7, enter into an Inter-Local Agreement with one another and with other public agencies to perform such services: and,
