This Interlocal Agreement for School Resource Officers (“Agreement”) is made between the Kennedale Independent School District (“District”) and the City of Kennedale (“City”) for the purpose of establishing the terms under which the City will provide the District with School Resource Officers (“SRO”s). Pursuant to the provisions of the Interlocal Cooperation Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 791, as amended, the parties to this Agreement have determined that the most economic and efficient manner to fulfill their obligations to the young people that are enrolled in the District and to the tax paying citizens of the City and the District is to enter into this interlocal cooperative Agreement between and among themselves and therefore have agreed and do hereby agree, as follows:
